"The standards of real estate construction in Georgia are getting closer to the European ones, and the prices remain competitive, which creates a favorable environment for business," says Irakli Gogolishvili, CEO of Anagi. He notes that western Georgia is particularly attractive to foreign investors interested in construction. He believes that the CEPA agreement signed with the UAE will benefit the private sectors of both countries and sees a unique prospect for enterprises specialized in real estate to provide services outside the country. "Currently, 60-70% of real estate on the Black Sea coast of Georgia is bought by foreigners. Possibilities are growing along with the quick evolution of these western regions. Several foreign businesses are already benefiting from such opportunities", he adds.
