1. Could you introduce Les Ateliers Feel Good and your vision behind creating a wellness and lifestyle brand in Madagascar?
Les Ateliers Feel Good is where luxury meets impact. From Madagascar, more than 1,200 women transform raffia and other natural fibers into exceptional pieces for the world’s leading fashion and décor houses.
But beyond craftsmanship, my vision was to create a house that embodies dignity, excellence, and joy, a place where every creation reflects resilience and harmony. For me, true luxury is to feel good, in harmony with oneself and with the world.
2. How does Les Ateliers Feel Good integrate Malagasy culture, natural resources, and traditions into its products or services?
Madagascar is an island of treasures. Each creation we produce carries a piece of our heritage. Raffia, an emblematic fiber, is harvested by hand, dyed with natural pigments, and woven or crocheted with ancestral gestures.
We do not simply produce objects, we transmit a culture, one that is refined, timeless, and deeply rooted in nature and heritage, offering authenticity that resonates with the values of excellence and tradition cherished worldwide.
3. What role does your brand play in promoting health, wellness, and mindful living in Madagascar’s urban and rural communities?
At Feel Good, we believe that well-being begins with the recognition of human dignity. We have built programs for personal development and holistic care for our artisans. Each woman is supported not only in her training but also in finding balance in life.
What we transmit through our products is this energy of balance, serenity, and inner strength. A Feel Good bag is not just an accessory, it is a statement of identity and well-being.
4. How do you ensure sustainability and ethical sourcing in your operations, from raw materials to finished products?
We work in short circuits with local cooperatives and we prioritize biodegradable, natural, and renewable materials. Raffia, for example, is harvested by hand without damaging the palm trees.
But for us, sustainability is not only about the environment, it is also social. Every artisan is fairly paid, trained, and respected. Each piece is made by hand, with precision, patience, and respect for people and the planet. This is the essence of true luxury.
5. How does your company inspire and support other local entrepreneurs, particularly women and youth?
At Feel Good, education and empowerment are at the heart of our mission. Through the Feel Good School, we created a training center dedicated to métiers d’art, designed to transmit savoir-faire of excellence.
One of our flagship programs, ‘Les Grandes Classes’, supports women in vulnerable situations by offering them the opportunity to learn a craft of art and prestige. Our objective is clear: to help them achieve financial independence and regain dignity through a recognized expertise.
In line with this vision, we launched l’Institut de la Mode et de l’Industrie Créative (IMIC). Its vocation is to focus on the formalization and valorization of fashion careers, while giving Malagasy talent the opportunity to occupy a significant place in this industry on the international stage.
Through the various programs of the Feel Good School, we do not simply transmit skills: we shape careers, cultivate excellence, and prepare a new generation of creators, artisans, and entrepreneurs who will proudly carry Africa’s voice in the world of sustainable and responsible fashion.
6. How do you train and empower your staff to maintain high standards and innovation?
At Feel Good Group, our commitment to excellence is embodied in our internal code called the ‘Luxe Attitude’. It’s not just a set of values, it’s a mindset and a method that guides every decision and every gesture we make.
Luxe Attitude means choosing integrity, precision, and deep client satisfaction in everything we do, from how we train a new artisan to how we respond to a last-minute request from a luxury brand. It’s about creating a culture where our teams, clients, and partners feel truly safe, supported, and proud to work with us.
To ensure this level of excellence, every staff member and artisan goes through a rigorous training journey that combines technical mastery, creative intelligence, and client understanding. They’re not just learning how to make, they’re learning how to think, anticipate, and elevate.
As for innovation, we see it not as a trend, but as a daily practice. We collaborate closely with designers, artistic directors, and product developers to co-create solutions that push boundaries, whether it’s reimagining raffia for contemporary interiors, or integrating new techniques while staying rooted in traditional craftsmanship.
Innovation at Feel Good is the art of doing better, for our clients, for our teams, and for the enduring legacy of the luxury industry.
7. Could you tell us more about your own brand, MADAME FEELGOOD, and how you see its potential in markets such as the Middle East?
The universe of MADAME FEELGOOD is unique and innovative. It is a house of prestige accessories that embodies an authentic art of living, celebrating the fulfillment of women.
Each piece is a talisman. Style, yes, but above all, meaning. Accessories that accompany women in living the life they choose to honor.
For MADAME FEELGOOD, true luxury is not only a matter of appearance, it is a choice of freedom. The freedom to think, to dare, and to act with confidence.
Born from my own journey, it embodies the freedom to choose oneself every day. Its mantra is: MAKE THE CHOICE TO FEEL GOOD.
Handmade in natural raffia, each piece is both a work of art and a talisman, a reminder of inner strength.
And MADAME FEELGOOD is also a brand that embodies high-level connection, influence in the business world, and the art of living with elegance, gratitude, joy, and lightness. It is a brand that connects sophistication with empowerment, appealing to women who seek both meaning and prestige.
We believe this philosophy of life resonates strongly in the Middle East, among modern, elegant, and discerning women who seek a luxury of meaning, intimate, emotional, and deeply personal.
With its blend of exceptional craftsmanship, inspiring storytelling, and community experience, MADAME FEELGOOD meets the new expectations of luxury: beauty, consciousness, and connection.
I believe that the Gulf market, which combines refinement, demand for quality, and love for meaning and symbolism, is deeply aligned with the DNA of MADAME FEELGOOD. Our creations are designed for powerful, spiritual women who want to carry an object with soul. In truth, wearing MADAME FEELGOOD is an experience.
8. Are you also exploring partnerships or collaborations with Gulf countries, particularly the UAE, to expand your brand or attract investment?
Absolutely. The Middle East represents a land of opportunities for us. I am open to creative collaborations with local houses, concept stores, and designers, as well as to impactful partnerships with foundations, patrons, and women leaders.
We believe the UAE, with its visionary spirit, is the ideal place to scale this vision through strategic alliances and distinguished partnerships.
Our vision is to build bridges: between tradition and modernity, between craftsmanship and luxury, between business and social impact.
9. How do you see wellness and lifestyle businesses contributing to Madagascar’s tourism and broader economic development?
Madagascar holds an untapped potential: sublime landscapes, unique biodiversity, and vibrant craftsmanship. The tourism of tomorrow will be experiential and transformational, seeking authenticity and meaning.
We are currently building a 5,000 m² flagship space that embodies this vision.
Our ateliers, schools, immersive boutiques, and transformational experiences are ways for visitors to discover another way of traveling, reconnecting with themselves, with nature, and with humanity.
A new way to experience luxury: through emotions, meaningful encounters, and memorable moments.
10. What message would you like to share with Khaleej Times readers about Les Ateliers Feel Good and Madagascar’s potential in the wellness and lifestyle sector?
