Le Méridien Hotel, managed by Marriott International, has French roots and has welcomed guests to Batumi's historical quarter for over three years. This area is known for its narrow streets, cozy architecture, and its green boulevard along the seacoast. Le Méridien Batumi boasts 105 large, elegantly designed rooms and suites with stunning views of both the Black Sea and the city center and a restaurant with a marvelous outside terrace over the boulevard offering French and local Adjarian flavors. Guests can enjoy an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, and a spa. The hotel is known for its modernist design, with restful colors and artworks by renowned Georgian artists.

Located in the heart of old Batumi, Le Méridien offers a chic beachfront hotel setting, making it an ideal place to unwind, indulge and relax on the alluring Black Sea coast.

"With European style streets and squares, an interesting mix of old and new architecture, a unique botanical garden, a seaside boulevard, international brand hotels, cafes, and restaurants, Batumi is positioning itself as a pearl of the Georgian Black Sea Cost and represents the new modern Georgia", says Toni Toshev, General Manager of Le Méridien.

One of the main strategic approaches of Le Méridien is to attract more travelers from Gulf countries. Data supports this expectation: The total number of international visits from GCC citizens in 2022 was 208,341, which is an increase of 82% compared to the previous year. The hotel management expects that the comprehensive economic partnership agreement (CEPA) between Georgia and the UAE will further accelerate the interest of business and leisure visitors from the UAE to Georgia.

Besides its tourist attractions, Batumi's investment potential is also a significant draw. The port city acts as a transit hub, with low taxes and business-friendly regulations attracting more and more foreign investors annually.
